South African Reserves: 3 Live Cameras — Rhinos, elephants
Three cameras in South Africa: the park with Africa's largest elephants, a black eagle nest on a cliff, and a centre that returns poached rhinos to the wild.
What you can see
All three are South African reserves, but each one is protecting something different.
Tembe Elephant Park (KwaZulu-Natal) is a sand forest and wetland park on the Mozambique border. It is known as the home of Africa's largest elephants. More than 340 bird species and the tiny suni antelope live in the same forest.
The black eagle nest (Selati, Limpopo) is a pair's nest on a cliff in the Selati Game Reserve, seen close up from incubation to fledging. When there is no chick, the frame is an empty nest and a rock face.
The HESC rhino centre (Hoedspruit, Limpopo) is the outdoor enclosure of a facility that takes in white rhinos injured by poaching or orphaned by it, and prepares them to go back to the wild. You see rhinos grazing while they are cared for.

The outdoor enclosure of a centre that takes in white rhinos injured or orphaned by poaching and prepares them to go back out. Rhinos graze here while under care.
When to watch
For all three the provider gives no season. The eagle nest changes completely depending on whether there is a chick, but we are not going to invent a date for it here.
South Africa is 7 hours behind Japan, with no daylight saving. Local 06:00 is 13:00 in Japan, local noon is 19:00, and local 18:00 is 01:00. So the local daylight hours run from Japanese afternoon to late evening and you can watch without keeping odd hours.
The southern hemisphere reverses the seasons: winter in Japan is summer there, and summer in Japan is winter there.
