What you can see
Ago Bay is a ria coast where countless islands and inlets run into each other. The camera looks out over it from high ground on Mount Yokoyama.
Pearl rafts line the water in thin rows. From this distance they read as streaks on the surface, but there are many of them, floating in lines all around the bay.
The near edge of the frame holds the lookout's wooden deck and railing. People are often walking on it, so you also get a sense of how many have come up.
The camera belongs to the Ministry of the Environment and refreshes hourly.

When to watch
The morning calm is the pretty one. On a windless morning the water in the inlets goes flat and the islands cast their shadows onto it.
It refreshes hourly. Reopening may bring back the same picture, so rather than waiting, come back to it after a while.
Once it is dark there is nothing. This is a land camera, so after sundown the screen is black.
