Three cameras on a plateau near 2,000 metres. A cherry hill that blooms in February, terraced apple and pear orchards, and the lake behind an arch dam.
What you can see
Lishan is a high plateau in central Taiwan, and, as its name says, fruit country.
Yingyuanqiu is a cherry hill near 2,000 metres. Taiwan's cherries bloom in February, earlier than Japan's. Being able to watch cherry blossom while Japan's trees are still bare makes this one of the more unusual cameras on the site.
Lanshenglou is a pavilion looking down on the settlement. Terraces of apple and pear cover the slopes. Apples ripening at 2,000 metres in Taiwan is altitude standing in for latitude.
Deji Reservoir is the lake behind an arch dam on the Dajia River, with the Jiayang alluvial fan on the far bank. The water level shows directly in the frame, so you can read a wet season or a dry one off the shoreline.

When to watch
The operator does not publish a viewing season, and we do not invent one here. The camera description does say that Taiwan's cherries bloom in February. Which day is peak in a given year is not decided here.
Taiwan is only one hour behind Japan, and there is no daylight saving. Noon in Taiwan is 13:00 in Japan.
On a plateau, the cloud base decides the picture. The reservoir reflects light, so on a clear day it is the brightest of the three. When everything is white, open the dam first - it is the easiest to read.
